You wake up, dazed and naked, on the cold, wet floor of a forest. As you stumble to your feet, shivering, you feel a spot of pain. Looking to where it is, you’ll spot a bite mark. Maybe it looks like an animal made it; maybe just a human with sharp teeth.

You don’t know what it means, but you hope you will soon, as you hear the sound of footsteps approaching. Looking up, you see a group of people approaching you. They seem hesitant, until they come closer, and then relax, as if sensing something about you that puts them at ease.

One of them offers a hand, uncaring of your nudity. “The bite is a gift,” they say. “Welcome to the fold.”

You’re about to be introduced to a world of darkness, bestial creatures, magic, and war. Now you’re a part of it; maybe you’ve always been, or maybe you’re here to hunt it. Regardless of what you are, your comrades are your home now; there’s no going back, no undoing what was done. You’re a soldier now.

Fur vs Fangs is a panfandom game, set around a fictional war between the world's vampires and werewolves. Your character is now on one side or the other, and whichever side "wins" or "loses" is up to the playerbase. The game itself is meant to be relaxed OOCly, with only a "check-in" style of activity check and a fairly light application process. We accept canon characters, OCs, AUs, In-game AUs, and characters with CR/memories from previous games. Also, who doesn't like supernatural wartime shenanigans?
